Nail Polish and Kids clothes

Can any tell me how to get nail polish out of a little girls dress? My cousin’s kid got hold of her mummy’s red nail polish and it’s all over her pretty pink dress. Haven’t got any nail polish remover, anyone else know of any other ways to get it out?

Please everyone make sure you know what is happening around you while you use ipods or any other personal audio equipment.

Thursday

Another weekday gone and I am really glad it is almost the weekend.

I’ve got a 21st Brithday to attend on Saturday and then on Sunday I’m going Bike Riding.

Bicycle Victoria have many events happening on Sunday to get people in riding their bikes. I’m not that fit, and I haven’t been out on my bike in the last couple of months, due to the hot weather, but I will definately out there on Sunday.

I’m not sure which trail/track I’m going to ride yet, but I’m determined to have a good exploring day.

Have a look at Bicycle Victoria’s Website and maybe I will see you out there!

A real disappointment

I am really amazed. I thought what a great site, but there doesn’t seem to be much loyalty now that the ipods have been drawn and there are no more to give away. There are still the exact posts, apart from 2 or 3, that were here yesterday. Where has everybody gone. Hasn’t anyone got anything to say anymore?

I’m really disappointed as I have been having a really good time reading everyone’s posts and now there aren’t nearly as many to read.

Many people pledged their loyalty to Nook, but sadly they aren’t posting now that here are no more ipods. Sad but True.

Food Allergy training for Teachers

Teachers to get food allergy training

TEACHERS at all Victorian schools are to be given a new course of instruction in how to deal with children at risk of severe allergic reactions.

http://www.news.com.au/story/0,23599,21268734-1243,00.html

I think this is fantastic. I’ve had Anaphylaxis and EpiPen training and thought that since schools are trying to ban peanut products due to possible severe allergy’s that the teachers would have already had this training.

Anaphylaxis is a severe allergy to something, such as peanuts or bee stings. Without an EpiPen and immediate medical assistance the person could Die!

A YOUNG driver involved in a head-on collision which killed two men in Victoria last Friday has died in hospital.

The 19-year-old P-plate driver was travelling on the wrong side of the road along the Princes Freeway, south-west of Melbourne, when he smashed into an oncoming sedan about 2.45am last Friday on the Maltby Bypass near Werribee.
We will never know why he was on the wrong side of the road now. What makes alot (not all) P-Platers think they are invincible?

Ipod draw

The last ipod winners have been drawn, when will we know who the winners are?

A question for Admin

When looking on my dashboard it has a local nooks area but I live near dandenong yet I see nooks as far away as Fitzroy and Hoppers Crossing. Surely there are closer nooks for me to look at.

Coca-Cola or Pepsi

I had an argument the other day with a non-cola drinker. He says that if you put Pepsi in a Coke bottle that you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference! He’s wrong, I can tell!

Well to the main question. Coca-Cola or Pepsi?

I am a Child care assistant working for an agency. I travel from Child Care centre to Child Care centre when an extra member of staff is needed. I have a Cert III in children's Services, First Aid, EpiPen (Anaphylaxis) trainin, Emergency Asthma traing and would willingly take on a full time job in a centre if offered. So far my job has taken me to the far reaches of Langwarrin, Brighton, Blackburn and Narrewarren. Every day I could be somewhere different. Meeting new people every day and always being the "New Girl" not quite understanding how things work in a centre and always asking questions.
